Hero Xtreme 160R Unveiled, Expected to Launch Next Month in India
Hero Motocorp has unveiled Hero Xtreme 160R entry levels to be added next month with Xtreme 200R and 200S. It gets an aggressive appearance. It comes with well-finished features, with the macho overall look.
Xtreme 160R is the new member of the flagship Hero Motocorp India with naked layouts. The design is inspired by the Hero Xtreme 1R Concept that was introduced at EICMA 2019. It comes with a fully digital instrument panel and LED lighting.
The engine will be an air-cooled, fuel-injecting motor of 160cc, combined with a gearbox of five-speed. It produces a maximum capacity of 15.21 hp and maximum torque of 14 Nm. It has disc brakes fitted at both ends and standard telescopic front forks with a pre-loadable 7-step mono-shock suspension at the rear.Hero Xtreme Sports
was discontinued earlier this year by the company Hero. Until then, in this segment, there is no alternative variant offered. Xtreme 160R is now introduced in the 150cc division of Hero, from the front, it has a headlight for the LED and the tank extensions are sharply visible. It is fitted with a tail light in H-shape.
The seat is a single-piece internal step-up seat which is simple to use for long rides. The tail section is dramatically elevated, granting the bike an advanced position. The bike is available in three colors: White with Gray, Blue with Gray and Red with Gray.
Well, the company didn't reveal a word on the price. It is expected to be around Rs 90,000 to Rs 95,000 costs. The Xtreme 160R is expected to launch in March 2020 and will go up against the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V
