Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 vs Svartpilen 250: Comparison, Similarities and Differences
The two-quarter-litre Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 were introduced recently by a Swedish automaker Husqvarna. Well, both bikes come with different ergonomics but are pricey for Rs 1.80 lakh.

Engine is same:
The engine specifications in both bikes do not differ. A 248.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injecting motor with a 6-speed drive is used for both motorcycles. The motor is capable to produce a maximum power of 29.5bhp at 9,000rpm and peak torque of 24Nm at 7,500rpm.
Different in Looks:
Yes, in this segment both bikes have a difference. Of two, Vitpilen 250 is a cafe racer which runs graphs with a bold and attractive look. While the Svartpilen is a robust urban explorer, it has an upright position and dual-purpose tyres.
A white fuel tank with a black tail and silver accent is offering in the Vitpilen. While a grey fuel tank with white inserts and silver tail section is in the Svartpilen 250.
Build Quality and Cycle parts are same:
The two bikes are mounted on lightweight, hydroformed and beautifully chromium steel trellis frames. The braking technologies are identical, a front 320 mm disc and a rear disc brake of 230 mm. All bikes are fitted with a front fork with 43 mm WP and a Monoshock absorber with 150 mm travel.
Husqvarna motorcycles will be sold in India, out of KTM showrooms
. Topmost 100 KTM
showrooms in India will be eligible to sell Husqvarna Twins. In the next five years, the company Husqvarna plans to expand the region to about 400 showrooms.
Both motorcycles, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and Svartpilen 250 are heavily based on KTM Duke 250
. Although reservations have already begun, deliveries are anticipated to take place in March 2020.
